Task 2: I'm Tired of Endless Decay
My theme for this excursion revolved around a feeling that everyone feels, abandonment, solitude. My inspiration came from a song called Monsters by MISSIO. Mostly from a particular verse which reads, "I'm tired of endless decay, you're tired of being alone". I decided to interpret this in the sadness or lack of emotion in people's faces as well as objects framed by themselves to signify the feeling of solitude. Whilst I also represented the decay mentioned in the lyrics by taking photos of objects that seem to be falling apart, much like a person in emotional turmoil.
